Who I give consent to and for what
Consent is optional and separate
Consent is given only by actively ticking an unticked box. It is never implied by browsing the Site, and refusing it does not affect your access to articles. In the EU and UK we rely on consent only where the Privacy notice says so (for example, the newsletter or an opt-in to further contact); other processing relies on the lawful bases set out there.
By ticking the consent box when I register, subscribe to the newsletter or submit a form on altcoinlog.com, I freely and for my own benefit agree to the processing of my personal data (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR / UK GDPR and the equivalent rules of the data-protection law that applies to us) for the purposes I have chosen:
Controller: Aleksandr Leusenko, founder and administrator of Altcoinlog, a project run on a voluntary basis to protect people from scams and fraud in digital assets; registration details (taxpayer ID, state registration number, postal address) are provided on request at support@en.altcoinlog.com.
- creating and maintaining my account, if I register;
- sending me the newsletter, if I subscribe;
- replying to my message and reviewing my tip, author application or partnership proposal;
- publishing and moderating my comments and materials.

What data
The data I provide — name or pseudonym, email, phone number, message text, information about myself and links — plus the IP address and time the form was submitted.

Processing and storage
Collection, recording, organisation, accumulation, storage, adaptation, retrieval, use, disclosure to processors acting on the controller’s behalf (hosting, file storage, email delivery), blocking, erasure and destruction — by automated and non-automated means.
I understand that my data may be stored outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, in a country for which no EU or UK adequacy decision exists, and that the safeguards and my rights are described in the Privacy notice.

Duration and withdrawal
This consent lasts until its purposes are achieved, and no longer than 3 years, or until I withdraw it. I can withdraw it at any time — as easily as I gave it — by writing to support@en.altcoinlog.com or to provided on request at
